Well, the Doodle poll was gratifyingly simple, just a case of following the link and the instructions.
Easy and useful.
The Google calendar was also straightforward to set up and install, and is potentially useful too. My colleague and I (both part-timers) could possibly use it for scheduling our working arrangements, and perhaps a calendar linked from the library's webpage would enable students to check on induction sessions etc.
